Birthday celebrations at Ikhayalethemba
As this week was the last of January it was time for the January Birthday party for the children who had birthdays throughout January. The children spent some class time this week making and decorating cards and posters for the party and the kind volunteers brought in delicious cake. At the end of the day Mama, the children and staff were gathered together and everyone sang Happy Birthday then they were presented with their lovely homemade cards before everyone enjoyed the delicious snacks. Thanks to the volunteers for organising the first of many Monthly birthday parties!
