ACJ took the trophy!
ACJ volunteers and co-ordinators got involved in a very special event on Wednesday 12th May 2010; we teamed up with the teachers from ACJ and played local taxi drivers and police at both soccer and netball. The soccer game went fantastically well as one of our sports volunteers, James, scored 2 goals. ACJ won 4-1 at football but unfortunately the netball team didn’t do as well on this occasion.
As for class we’ve been continuing our gymnastics lessons, we have done jumping, working on a balance beam and some interesting relay races. Although winter rains are starting to come the kids are still enjoying lessons. Next week we start a week of cricket… will keep you posted J
