Plants and things that grow!

This week at the orphanage we have started our new theme of ‘plants and things that grow’. Our new recruits have been coming up with some fantastic ideas from grouchy crocodiles to buzzing bees! Today has been particularly eventful with class B making some fantastic crocodile snacks using carrots from the garden, grapes and cream cheese! Lwando certainly made a mess with cheese all round his mouth however he made an impressive 13 snacks in which he no trouble gobbling them all up!
Class A have been working on some hand puppets of bees and learning all about what bees like to eat and what they make. Teacher Sand gave them a special treat trying some honey and is now working on her own bee song which the children are learning.
The teenagers were also in for a treat as the workshop got to cut up lots of lovely veggies to put onto their pizzas! So it was a feast all round!
