HEAD- SHOULDERS KNEES AND TOES, KNEES AND TOES!

After spending 2 weeks with my lovely cubs I can honestly say nothing could surprised me. One of the girls, Theoline at the start of the week, despite constant encouragement, refused to speak or have part in many of the activities and often just lay on the floor. At the end of our first week Theoline made a person out of play dough and started to sing “head, shoulders, knees and toes” and pointing to the person. From that point on she has become one of the happiest and most hardworking members of the class. I think this shows that with encouragement and opportunity any child can surprise you. This really has been a life changing experience and it has been both a pleasure and an honor to help with the incredible work GVI have been doing.
