Preparation is vital!

This week we tried out dodgeball with grades 4 and 5, and basketball with grades 6 and 7. Adequate preparation is vital in this job so we prepared by watching Dodgeball and White Men Can’t Jump which led to some highly entertaining quoting throughout the week, particularly from Mark. Apart from having to stop one class from using their elbows too much in basketball it was very successful and some kids showed a huge amount of talent. Dodgeball was just as exciting! Apart from the kids picking it up very quickly and having great fun playing it, Darren almost got his shorts pulled down and the affection for Sarah was clear when she became a definite target in nearly every game! We also had our second soccer tournament, this time with grade 5, which was won by 5D expertly coached by Andy. Much respect to David for putting his brother’s team out.
