A Week of Experiments at ACJ Primary
We decided to try something new at ACJ Primary this week and teach ultimate Frisbee to grades 4 and 5 and circuit training to grades 6 and 7. It was an experiment but went extremely well. The kids seemed to really enjoy themselves, particularly in Frisbee, and some were surprisingly good at picking up the tactics and skills needed. We also had the first afternoon soccer tournament since I have been here within grade 4 which was won by 4F in sudden death penalties, owing mainly to some superb goalkeeping! The sight of so many kids out on the field watching, dancing, singing and shouting will stay with me for a long long time.
