Global Vision International (GVI) is a non-political, non-religious organisation, which through its alliance with over 150 project partners in over 30 countries, provides opportunities for volunteers to fill a critical void in the fields of environmental research, conservation, education and community development.

Facts and figures

  • Offered sports coaching to over 1000 disadvantaged children
  • Increased the level of literacy to grade 6 students by 19%
  • Increased the level of Numeracy to grade 6 students by 15%
  • Given over 2000 hours of individual therapy to disabled orphans
  • Run over 1500 reading workshops to over 1800 disadvantaged children in townships around Cape Town
  • Opened 2 educational centers for pre school children in poverty stricken townships surrounding Cape Town
